Spring/Fall Count Summary

During spring and fall migration, Denver area birders survey local areas to inventory the state of the birds. Much like the Christmas Bird Count evaluates the status of winter residents, these counts help provide a picture of North American migrants. These reports summarize the results.

This summary shows the number of species recorded on each Denver area count as well as the total number of species found for the year. The numbers are split by spring or fall. The total number of species recorded over the years is 293 for spring and 285 for fall.
