The Lark Bunting
The Lark Bunting is the quarterly journal of the Denver Field Ornithologists. It is published four times each year in January, April, July, and October. It includes feature articles, profiles, photo galleries and other useful information about DFO and birding. Articles and photos can be submitted at any time. The deadline for each issue is the last week of the month prior (December, March, June and September). The Lark Bunting was first published as the Club's monthly newsletter in October 1965 and was preceded since October 1953 by Colorado Bird Notes, monthly bulleting of the Colorado Bird Club, DFO's original name. In January 2025, The Lark Bunting was converted to a quarterly journal. Check out all previous issues by year and month in the year-by-year menu, below left.
