This trip is limited to the first 4 registrations.

The trailhead road, about 4 miles, can be driven by most passenger cars. The trail is an old 4-wheel drive road with some off-trail walking. We will walk less than 3 miles with minimal altitude gain. We hope to see mountain nesting species and will likely find fledglings. Moose have been seen in this area. This trip is a 3 day back pack of about 1.5 miles. Please plan personal food and equipment for safe camping and hiking in variable mountain weather. Mobile phone service is not available. Be prepared to filter or purify water from a creek. Campfires are allowed in this area. We will hike daily on mostly easy off trail terrain. We hope to see nesting species and may find many fledglings. Register online or contact the leader.
