Meet Clark Jones

Clark Jones

I've been birding for 20 years and previously taught ornithology at the University of Georgia as a graduate student and post-doc. I've been birding the Front Range for about 10 years now and some of my favorite birds to look for are sparrows and waterbirds.

I'm primarily a local birder although most vacations involve a healthy dose of birding. I like to maximize birds seen when birding, but not at the expense of being able to to observe bird behavior and make sure everyone is having an enjoyable experience (and hopefully learning something as well). I'm also a fly-fisherman, a father, a husband, and spend most of my time managing natural resources on military lands.
