Meet Karen Drozda
I am always excited to share the birding experience. It is so rewarding to actually take time to study the birds, learn new behaviors and "cement" bird song into memory. One of the tools I use to learn bird song is to have the participants sing the bird song back after it vocalizes. Completed the Audubon Master Birder course in 2014. I grew up in Boulder and studied music in college and use those skills with birding. I enjoy leading trips to Eldorado Canyon and areas in the Boulder area. I also like birding in cemeteries because no one is talking :) I am also the committee chair for the Better Birding Skills workshops now offered through DFO.
