Meet Doris Cruze
I am a life-long birder since learning to whistle back at Mockingbirds as a child. My favorite birding experiences are on Christmas Count trips and my favorite out-of-state birding location is Bosque del Apache. I lead trips for DFO, Roxborough State Park, Denver Audubon, and South Platte Park. Last summer I participated in a "Birding Blitz" with the Highline Canal Conservation group.
Roxborough State Park is my favorite local birding spot because every season there are different birds to see and hear, plus, the park is rich with wildflowers and wildlife and every trip is an adventure.
