Meet Joseph Tuttle
I have been birding since taking an Ornithology course in 2018- but only got pretty serious about it in 2021 when I was lucky to work with some extraordinary birders who showed me how much deeper the rabbit hole goes. I have been birding Colorado for about 4 years, largely in Southwest and Central CO. I live in Fairplay CO, in lovely South Park. My favorite birds are mountain finches, and just in general birds that thrive in gorgeous mountainous terrain.
I am hoping to lead trips in Park County, in general I like to take it fairly easy and wander around various sites looking for different bird species. I love to bird with birders of all skill levels. I am very into recording bird sounds, and love to talk about it with whoever will listen.
