About the Trip
OLD UTE TRAIL & DEVIL'S ELBOW TRAIL: This is the second of three trips that will explore slightly different sections of this park. These trails go beyond our usual turning point at the end of the Meadow Trail and have some nice forest habitat. Pack snacks and a lot of water. It is a little on the early side for breeders, but there may be a few species of interest around. As always with my trips, there will be an early portion for anyone that cares to join me. I will leave the parking lot at 5:00 AM and do a quick loop up to the Tower Trail and back. This will give an extra chance to listen for owls and grouse. Come for one portion or both. Register online or contact leader.
