Meet at Barr CCC Park, 18964 S Twenty Mile Rd, Parker, CO, located on the SW corner of Main St and 20 Mile Rd for birding there and later at the Rueter-Hess Reservoir, which is open to the public only with entry permission.
This trip is limited to the first 11 registrations.
****Please note the Rueter-Hess component of this trip has been eliminated for the health of all concerned because of the secure nature of RH and Parker Water Department shuttle. We have removed Rueter-Hess Reservoir and added Parker Regional Park.
March is awakening after the winter season. We can watch for waterfowl on the lakes. Historically, there is a nice variety of raptors and land birds species are coming in.
We will meet and bird around Bar CCC. There is a port-a-potty at Bar CCC.
After that we will all drive to Parker Regional Park taking Parker Road East then taking a right (south) on Hess Road to and right (west) on Motsenbocker to 11920 N. Motsenbocker Road. We will bird for land birds and waterfowl on the lake. There is a fixed bathroom at Parker Regional.
