Meet Carly Crow
Carly caught the birding bug in 2017 when she took Ornithology at the University of Georgia. She is a trained bird bander and has had the opportunity to work with birds in Costa Rica, Mexcio, England, and various locations across the US. She moved to the Denver area in August of 2023 and currently works with Bobwhite quail in the northeast of Colorado. On trips, you can fully expect to learn a fact or two about the biology or ecology of birds seen and heard along the way. Her favorite group of birds are warblers.
Trips with Carly will primarily have a focus on building a robust list for the day. Most outings with her will visit multiple habitat types to maximize the species count. Occasional trips designated for budding birders will be offered in the future. Carly is also actively looking into developing much more active trips where participants will bird by snowshoe.
